Business Process Analyst

DESCRIPTION The Office of the University Registrar seeks a Business Process Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Associate Registrar, the Business Process Analyst will coordinate, prioritize, organize, track, and facilitate office projects for the office's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions student information system called LionPATH and other office projects, in collaboration with the members of the office Leadership Team. This position is integral to the office's integration of Campus Solutions to support all business processes and practices across all units of the office. Project management and strong working relationships with all stakeholders in the office and other partners across the University, in particular the LionPATH Development and Maintenance Office (LDMO) are central to the work of this position. This job will be filled as a level 3 or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Candidates with research administration content expertise, technical project management backgrounds and/or business analysis experience are preferred. Although programming experience is not directly required for this position, the position is system oriented and experience and comfort with student information systems is absolutely critical. Advanced knowledge of the programs, processes, and practices of the Office of the University Registrar, in support of the office's mission, is extremely important. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Must have strong problem solving skills and attention to details. Analyzing business processes and knowledge of system functionality required to solve complex problems is essential to effect change. Problem resolution must occur in the context of collaboration and negotiation with stakeholders. The candidate must have excellent oral communication and writing skills, ability to coordinate and organize staff in support of office projects, ability to communicate technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ability to create and maintain documentation and provide training. 83728

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
