The University Libraries Open Publishing Program is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student worker who is interested in aspects of publishing and basic web design/content management to assist in the duties and responsibilities of the publishing program, specifically with the migration of content into the program's publishing platforms. The Open Publishing Program currently publishes eight open access journals, five bibliographies, one monograph, and one topical web portal publication, with more publications set to be migrated and published. The program uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) to publish the journal content, and Drupal to publish the bibliographies, topical web portals, and monographs. Responsibilities may include uploading

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
