Penn State Athletics is seeking highly motivated students with strong writing skills and a familiarity with the Penn State Athletics program to work as feature writers/bloggers for GoPSUsports.com, the Official Home of Penn State Athletics. Interns will contribute written features, game stories for sports (as assigned), and some video work that will be posted on GoPSUsports.com and its Penn State Athletics Blog. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, and basic HTML coding are preferred, but not required. Experience using AP style and any video editing skills are also helpful. In addition to uploading a cover letter and resume, applicants may send any writing samples to Jeff Sattora, Digital Communications Assistant at jgs5098@psu.edu and Arielle Sargent, Assistant Director of Communications at ans26@psu.edu. The internship may be taken for credit after successful completion of the first semester.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
