Penn State EMS at University Park seeks to hire multiple Teaching Assistants (TA's) for our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. Teaching hours will be primarily one evening per week during the spring and fall semesters. Applicants must have a minimum of three months current, active experience as a certified EMT in Pennsylvania, and have completed an approved educational methodology course. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises. Those interested in the position must complete the University employment application and also include a resume and brief letter of interest.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
