Programmer/Analyst 2 (Programmer/Analyst Drupal Developer)
Penn State Outreach and Online Education Marketing's Web Strategy and Development team is looking for a programmer to work on our fast-growing and award winning World Campus website, as well as other sites and projects. The ideal candidate would have experience with Drupal development and solid understanding of PHP and SQL. Responsibilities include serving as lead developer for medium to large web projects, building upon and maintaining the current World Campus website, including developing modules to facilitate the continuing growth and optimization of the site, maintaining existing modules, working with technical colleagues to identify ways to continually improve the site's infrastructure and performance, as well as the manner in which code is maintained, tested, and deployed. The developer should be comfortable working as a part of a team. Outreach Marketing is a friendly and supportive environment that is driven by deadlines and serious business goals, and the ideal candidate will be able to thrive in this situation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
