The division of Finance and Business at the Pennsylvania State University seeks a creative and collaborative Employee Engagement Director to design, develop, and implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement; to encourage collaboration, unity, and teamwork in Finance and Business; to identify and promote events and activities for employees to engage with the Senior Vice President; to find ways to expressions of gratitude and appreciation; to embed Penn State's values in employee-related activities; and to provide professional development opportunities to employees to enhance emotional intelligence and other soft skills. This position will promote an overall culture and workplace mission to unify Finance and Business with a focus on employee engagement and team building opportunities. Primary position duties include:
Ongoing assessment of employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, feedback, and interviews. Recommendations to division and unit leaders to improve employee recruitment, retention, and engagement and the workplace environment. Design and implementation of programs and initiatives to address identified gaps and opportunities in employee engagement. Planning a multitude of events across Finance and Business with an employee engagement focus, to include leadership retreats, networking events, guest speakers, professional development, and themed programming. Support of activities defined by unit leaders to promote Penn State's values and the Finance and Business strategic plan. Creation and promotion of professional development experiences and training to enhance teamwork, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and collaboration. Support and develop inclusivity and collaboration across the Finance and Business division and units that emphasize We AreOne Team! Coordinate and collaborate with others at Penn State outside Finance and Business, such as Human Resources, to ensure use of best practices and compliance with existing University employee-related policies and procedures. Sponsor onboarding activities and mentorship opportunities for new Finance and Business employees. The successful candidate for this position will serve as an employee engagement expert and partner for leadership within the Finance and Business division and demonstrate knowledge of broad concepts and practices related to employee engagement and organizational development. This position will create, drive, and enhance the Finance and Business culture and engagement strategies by building programs and activities that promote collaboration, teamwork, and a unified focus on mission. The candidate must have expertise in designing and implementing assessment surveys and tools. The candidate must have excellent communication skills. This position must effectively communicate with a variety of employees with different skills, backgrounds, and job responsibilities within Finance and Business. These communications often involve complex and sensitive topics. The successful candidate must be able to build trust and confidence with the Finance and Business team. Experience:
This position will be filled as a level 4 or 5, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education/years of experience required for a level 5 position. Experience working in a higher education environment preferred. Experience developing successful employee engagement programs. Experience developing key partnerships across a variety of stakeholders to collaborate and gain buy-in. Skills and Abilities:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
