Marketing Communications Specialist 4 - Clinical Translational Science Institute at PennState in University Park, PA
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional (Marketing Communications Specialist 4) to lead the marketing and communications efforts for Penn State's Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), which promotes and supports clinical and translational research across the University. With potential supervisory responsibility, this position will direct, manage and oversee the work of Institute-related marketing and communications staff, both directly supported by the CTSI as well as Penn State staff who are requesting support or who assist in addressing the Institute's marketing and communications needs. This role will work in collaboration with the Penn State Health marketing and communications team, the College of Health and Human Development's communications team, the communications team in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research (OSVPR) and Penn State's Strategic Communications team to positively represent the Institute and University to internal and external groups in support of the Institute's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing and communications skills, social media expertise and the ability to work independently while also within a collaborative team. This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's preferred), plus 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. $80K -- $100K
